Pass the time. I brought 2 knife kits. One for Cody, who I will be traveling with majority of the time. And one for myself. With not to much swell around here at the moment, and the comp on lay day, I’ve got some good progress on the first one. These are my tools to work with. The wooden handle on the knife was a big block and I have carved, shaped & sanded it down to fit. A $200 board bag fee and some energetic, soccer playing, hoodlums kicking my chair on the way over, I’ve arrived in a destination that is new to me. Cabo. So far it seems like a hotter version of California. The surf was minimal at the contest site, but it was the first time I’ve surfed in trunks in a while and there was dead wind(I really enjoy a calm ocean).
